This session will be focused on learning the ins and outs of a common complaint that you will encounter in the community, ambulatory, and ED settings.  Headache can be a debilitating disease that dramatically reduces one's quality of life.  Fortunately, advancements in the management of headache can help reduce both the frequency and severity of attacks.  Please see below for the learning objectives and videos related to headache.
Learning Objectives
1) Differentiate between primary and secondary headaches
2) Recognize the “red flags” that should result in referral and imaging
3) Compare the signs and symptoms of migraine, cluster, and tension headache and differentiate between these primary headache types
4) Develop an appropriate management strategy for migraine, cluster, and tension headaches, including acute symptom management and chronic prophylaxis
